'COME HOME'

This poem is written for our missing sisters, The CHIBOK GIRLS. I pray that God will bring them home safely.

‘COME HOME’
They are their mother’s love
Their father’s jewel
A mini-mother to their siblings
Future home builders
Separated from their loved ones suddenly
Can someone tell me where they are?
Where are they?
I need an answer
Are they dead or alive?
I see them in pain
Tears of agony is their water
Have they been raped?
Have they lost their dignity?
Oh! What a tragedy
To the oppressors
You will not live long
Vultures food shall your flesh become
Pain, agony and sorrow shall be your companion
Come Home, Come Home
Come Home my sisters
Daddy is dying of silent sorrow
Mummy is going insane by the day
Siblings tears have turned to flooded river
Come Home, Come Home
Let Sorrow turn to Joy
I pray that God will bring you home safely
